Small girl in pink kimono

This was with the previous photo, and shows a small girl in a kimono that has been tinted pink with a blue sash, and her geta sandal thong was also tinted blue. She is sitting on the step and looking back into the house. I imagine her mother called her just at that moment and Dad took the photo anyway.

That’s a cute picture of the girl and the color really makes it come alive.

The colour makes it really interesting. Was she being scolded for sucking her thumb?

Lovely. There is something so universal about the pose. The child could be anywhere – Trenton, Tewkesbury or Tokyo : children are all the same.

Wonderful photograph, even if it was carefully posed, thank you.

It’s me again … I was reading the other links on SS and when I click on yours, it doesn’t come to this page, it only shows an error code. I got to you through the comment you left for me.

Just wanted you to know. :>)

delightful picture and the tinting is an interesting aspect that i’ve seen in some of my family photographs but to a lesser degree of success. this requires skills.

So cute! I wonder where she is today. I agree with all the others. The colors make it so much prettier.
