Could this be a Guisinger-VonKaenel Wedding?

Our great friend Iggy discovered that Francis Guisinger and her sister Vonnie both married VonKaenels. Could this be the wedding portrait for one of those weddings? The bride is lovely with a beautiful white wedding dress and full veil, elbow gloves and pearls. She cradles her bouquet in such a way as to show off her wedding ring. The groom looks relaxed and happy.

If you love vintage wedding photos, my friend Connie is featuring Victorian and vintage wedding photos for the entire month of June. Check them out at Forgotten Old Photos.

Wonderful wedding photo, is it from the late teens and early twenties? When did Francis and Vonnie get married? Thanks for the mention, I had great fun collecting the wedding photos:)

FRED VON KAENEL and CLOTILDA GUISINGER

United States Census, 1930 for Fred Von Kaenel
    Event Date: 1930
    Event Place: Sedgwick, Sedgwick, Colorado
    Gender: Male
    Age: 41
    Marital Status: Married
    Race: White
    Birthplace: Switzerland
    Estimated Birth Year: 1889
    Immigration Year: 1909 <—
Relationship to Head of Household: Head
    Father's Birthplace: Switzerland
    Mother's Birthplace: Switzerland
    Household Gender Age
    Fred Von Kaenel M 41
Spouse Clotilda Von Kaenel F 34
    Child Merl Von Kaenel M 16 (1914)
Child Bessie Von Kaenel F 15
    Child Constance Von Kaenel F 14 (1916)
Child Ralph Von Kaenel M 11
Child Carmen Von Kaenel F 7

SAMUEL LAW TATE married CONSTANCE IRENE VON KAENEL on November 25, 1935 in Soda Springs, Idaho. Constance was the daughter of FRED VON KAENEL and CLOTILDA GUISINGER and was born January 06, 1916.

So Fred and "Vonnie" got married between 1909 and 1914. Most likely nearer to 1914.

Frances likely married Hans shortly after she graduated school in 1915. So I would say both Guisinger women were married sometime between 1913 and 1917 or so – with Clotilda marrying first.

Perhaps Frances' grandson will know? You should have his email addy (if I sent it to you – I've been very "confused" of late).

P.s., Looking at Frances – I don’t think this woman is her. (Just my two cents)

a year ago a woman with a good intention went into a an antique store,in California, and in Texas I began to find out who I and what I am.She found a green fan Album with a picture of who I learned this incredible woman Aunt Francis months later we would find each other.I took the album made copies very carefully putting the originals with care back in the green fan album.I had a phone call last night from a elderly woman,”I am told that you have a very old picture of my mother”,in fact indeed I did, framed waiting to find her. From Talking to my new found relation, learning aunt Francis, love family to gather around her and together, and in a small way she is still is. I sent the album to Grandmother now has the album, her favorite aunt ,her cousins the woman’s older
sisters also She told me she didn’t have alot of pictures of her mother and she after all these years still missed her very much. I told her a understood that very much ,and when my mom was alive would talk to her almost every day.But this one will sit on my piano something she must prize dearly from the tone in her voice.A year ago understanding to truly know who we are in the present,we must first find ourselves in the past ,who I am today are the people of my past.I don’t know where my life’s journey will take me to.What ever path I choose next,I will sure enjoy your company.
Still working out whos who in the album but maybe I can report back soon.

You know I am delighted every time I hear how the photos are doing “down the line” once they are reunited with family. I’m so very happy that these old photos are helping your family reconnect and tell the tales that need to live through the generations.
